Obituary of William Efthemios Kokines

WILLIAM E. "BILL“ KOKINES

Died December 2nd 2023 at age 89, Roseville, California.

Bill was a resident of Orangevale California formerly of Elk Grove California and was born November 26th 1934 in Chicago Illinois.

One of seven children of  Efthemios and Eleni Kokines. He will always be remembered for his levity sense of humor and fierce independence. Forever setting the example of family first,  always room at the table and definitely the more the merrier. You always knew where you stood with Bill.

A much treasured friend and uncle to many of which he so loved and appreciated their visits.

Loving father to Deb (David) Zarka and Steve (Shelly) Kokines. Beloved Papu to Elaina (Henry) DuFort, Ana (Coby) Dombrowsky, Damien, Cameron (Jessika), Demetri, Dylan, Colton and Devin Kokines.  Great Papu to Sydney,Wyatt,Brielle,Avery, Aria, MacKenzie and Jonah George.

Survived by sister, Esther (Gene) Leszczynski, and the late Gus(Lorraine) Kokines, Katherine (Tom) Klees, Penelope (Fred) Marzolph, Jim (Fran) Kokines and George Kokines.

Proceeded by his wife of 63 years, Patrina Sue Kokines.

A private gathering will be held Saturday January 13th 2024.

Internment at Hilltop Cemetery Elk Grove California.
