Obituary of Harry H. Fisher Jr

Harry H. Fisher, Jr., a long time resident of Sacramento, CA died on December 31, 2023 at age 72 after a long illness.

He was born on January 2, 1951 to Harry and Annette (Halesky) Fisher in Philadelphia, PA. where he spent his childhood. He was the younger brother to Sandra (Sandy) Sees.

Harry graduated from John Bartram High School in Philadelphia. He earned a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Education from California State University, Sacramento.

Harry served in the United States Air Force from 1971 thru 1973. He began his service in Texas, then Minnesota, Alaska and ended in California. He loved California so much he to spent the rest of his life there.

Harry was a beloved Special Education teacher at Rio Terra Junior High School for 27 years until he retired in 2019.

Harry was also well known in his community as a happy and kind person. He would talk to everyone he met and strike up a conversation. He especially liked to frequent Mel’s Diner for breakfast.

Harry is survived by his partner Julie Morrison, her daughter, Adrian Filice Davidson, son-in-law, Alex and their children, Maxie and Elio, his sister Sandra (Sandy) Sees, and his niece Sandy Marie McGuire and his nephew, Thomas J. Sees, Jr. (Mollie) and his beloved great nieces and nephew. He is pre-deceased by his parents, his brother-in-law Thomas J. Sees, Sr. and his niece’s husband, Gregory J. McGuire, Sr.
