Diana Marie Manners of Sacramento, California passed away peacefully on October 3rd. Diana was born in Sacramento, California on June 13, 1953. Diana went to be with her Heavenly Father at 67 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Leon Lee, as well as her parents, James and Marjorie.
She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Dale Manners. Diana is lovingly remembered by her son Jason and his wife Elaine, her daughter Melinda and her husband Brad, her daughter Yvonne and her husband Mark, her grandchildren Zackary, Allison, Angela, Siena, Ryland, Dylan and Carter, her sister Gina, her brother Lyle and his wife Lou-Ann, her brother Dean, her nephews Anthony, Lyle and Ron, her nieces Melissa, Larisa, Mindy and Stacy, her stepdaughter Tracy and her husband Kirk, her stepdaughter Kristen and her wife Lacy.
Diana and her husband Leon lived in Elk Grove, California for most of their marriage with their three children. They traveled with their children and spent lots of quality time with family. She was a school bus driver and scheduler with the Elk Grove Unified School District for 27 years. Her work life and travel life came together in 1984 when she drove the athletes of the 20th Olympic Games to their venues in Los Angeles, California.
Diana and her husband Dale lived in Sacramento, California. Their RV was their second home, they spent a good portion of their time in it traveling. They were avid travelers and were able to travel all over the world together. During her travels she met lots of new friends while exploring places she had not been to before. She became a very skilled sewer over the years and spent a lot of her time on this hobby. Her creativity was expressed through her sewing and the constant search for that unique and creative sewing project. She enjoyed creating special gifts for family and friends.
Diana's heart was full when she was surrounded by her family and friends. Her undying love and devotion to her family will be deeply missed. Diana will be laid to rest at the Sacramento Valley Cemetery in Dixon, California. She can be found on the registry at the end of October. A Celebration of Life for Diana will occur on October 24th.
